As I said last week, at Christmas my sister brought me several teas to try from Distinctly Tea. The second one I decided to try was Vanilla Cream Black.

From the label, the blend contains Ceylon black tea and bourbon vanilla pieces.

I couldn’t find it on the site right now, but there are a number of other yummy teas that contain both the black tea and bourbon vanilla pieces.

When I opened the package I could smell the vanilla.  Once brewed I could smell the black tea, but still with a trace of vanilla.  The taste was really smooth – it was a nice change from a plain black tea or breakfast blend. I also think it would be good with something sweet.  I’ll have to keep an eye on the site, because this is one I would like more of!
