A few weeks ago I placed an order for a whole mess of samples from Harney & Sons. I’m excited to try them and share them with you.  The first one I decided to try was their Chai.

From the site, the blend contains Indian Black Tea, cardamom seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and vanilla.

It’s available in a variety of sizes: sample for $2.00, 4oz for $7.00, 8oz for $12.50, and 1lb for $20.50.

When I first opened the package I smelled the delicious spices. Once brewed, I got more of the strong black tea smell. I decided to drink my chai with a little milk and honey.  This wasn’t a super sweet chai, but was very smooth and the spices mild. It was a delicious afternoon treat.
