Drink Me: Argo Tea, Limonello

The third and final sample in the package of teas from Argo is the Limonello blend.

From the website Limonello contains lemongrass, lemon peels and dried apple.

It is available in a 3.2oz canister for $10.95.

When I first opened this one I love the tart lemony smell. I was curious what the dried apples would add to the mix. Once brewed I mostly tasted the lemon peel and lemongrass; there may have been a touch of sweetness from the apples, but I mostly got lemon. Not that I wish to relegate this purely to use for illness, but with a little bit of honey I think this one would be the perfect cold remedy.  Of course, I could also imagine it hot with a bit of cake or with a scone.
