Last spring I embarked on a new journey in the fiber arts community. I took two Learning to Tech Edit courses from Joeli Caparco of Joeli Creates.
I didn’t expect to love tech editing knitting patterns as much as I do, but in a way it is unsurprising since it uses many skills that I already have (comfort with spreadsheets and data, an eye for proofing grammar and spelling to name a few) and marries them with something that I love: knitting.
Since last spring I have been working with a small, but steadily growing, group of clients on making their amazing patterns even better. I realized that I hadn’t really spoken about it on the blog, and thought it was time to announce that I’m available to new clients and eager to meet you!
For more information about what I can do for you, please check out my Tech Editing Services tab at the top of the page. Also, if you’re a member of Ravelry, I created a bundle of patterns that I have tech edited which you can view here.
If you or anyone you know is interested in tech editing services, please contact me at ldwcameron at gmail dot com. I look forward to hearing from you!
