About

laura-sq-1Laura is a technical editor, knitter, spinner, pattern designer, and podcaster.

She learned to knit at age 7 under the tutelage of her Grandma Ruthie, but became a Knitter with a capital K in her early 20’s working in a yarn shop in Los Angeles.  These days she knits samples for several yarn dyers, tech edits patterns for a growing group of independent designers, spins handspun yarn for her Etsy shop, releases new knitting patterns a few times a year, and spends her “day job” helping businesses in the industry create social media strategies and content. Oh, and she starts to despair if she doesn’t get in at least a few rows of knitting or a few minutes at the spinning wheel each day.

She added tea to her blogging adventures (and her podcast) when she got tired of the same 6 Bigelow teas in the break room at at a previous job. Today her loose leaf tea coffers overflow.

Laura earned a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.

    1. I’m not sure which box you’re talking about… if you’re talking about the plate on which I display tea, it unfortunately was part of a limited edition run and I haven’t found it for sale anywhere.
