I know it’s a little late for Mother’s Day, but I couldn’t help but notice this sweet pink mug featured on Harney & Sons website for the holiday. I think it looks like knit stitches, don’t you?
Many years ago I got to attend a Van Gogh exhibit at LACMA. I stood transfixed by all the delicate brush strokes in each and every painting. This mug set reminds me of that wonderful evening.
As I was browsing Pinterest the other day I came upon this quilt tutorial. I can’t sew to save my life, but if you can, you could quilt yourself a cuppa! Or, if a full quilt seems daunting, perhaps a small mug rug?
